    Accessing Documents

Sign in to CrewHR and click Documents in the employee navigation.

    What You See

The employee portal documents list showing shared company documents

The documents page shows all documents that your organization has shared with you. What you see depends on your role and location:

    • Documents shared with all employees are always visible
    • Documents shared by location appear only if you work at that location
    • Documents shared by role appear only if you have that role
    • Documents shared by location + role appear only if you match both

This means you only see documents that are relevant to you.

    Browsing Documents

    By Category

If your organization uses categories (e.g., "Policies", "Training", "Safety"), you can filter documents by category to find what you need.

    Searching

Use the search function to find a specific document by name.

    Viewing and Downloading

    • Preview: Click on a document to preview it directly in CrewHR (supported for common file types)
    • Download: Click the download button to save the file to your device

    Common Document Types

Your organization might share documents like:

    • Employee handbooks and policies
    • Safety procedures and guidelines
    • Training materials
    • Forms and templates
    • Standard operating procedures

    Tips

    • Bookmark important documents: If you need to reference a document frequently, download it or bookmark the page
    • Check for updates: Documents may be updated by your organization. If you downloaded a copy, check back periodically for the latest version
