    Viewing Schedules

    Accessing the Schedule

Navigate to Schedule from the main navigation. This shows the published (live) schedule that employees also see.

The Schedule Builder is a separate page for creating and editing draft schedules.

    View Modes

The scheduler supports two primary views:

    • Employee view: Organized by employee, showing each person's shifts across the time period
    • Location view: Organized by location, showing all shifts at a location grouped by zone

Toggle between views using the controls at the top of the page.

    Display Modes

You can switch between several display layouts:

    • Roster: Compact grid view
    • List: Linear list of shifts
    • Timeline: Calendar-style horizontal timeline
    • Calendar Feed: Calendar view of shifts

    Filtering

Use the filter bar to narrow down what you see:

    • Location: Select a specific location or view all locations
    • Zone: When a specific location is selected, filter to a particular zone within it
    • Role: Show only shifts for a specific role
    • Employee: Focus on a specific employee's shifts

Filters work together, so you can combine them (e.g., show all Nurse shifts at the Downtown Office).

    Date Navigation

    View Duration

Choose how many weeks to display at once:

    • 1 week: Detailed view of a single week
    • 2 weeks (default): Two-week overview
    • 4 weeks: Monthly-level view

    Navigating Dates

Use the calendar navigation to jump to any date range. Click the forward and back arrows to move through time, or click the date to open a calendar picker.

What You See on the Schedule

Each shift card on the schedule shows:

    • Employee name: Who is assigned
    • Time: Start and end times
    • Role: The role for this shift
    • Zone: Which section/department

    Additional indicators you might see:

    • Birthday badges: A cake icon appears when it is an employee's birthday
    • Time-off markers: Days where an employee has approved time off are visually marked
    • Unassigned slots: Open shifts that still need an employee assigned

    Tips

    • Use the 2-week view for day-to-day scheduling management
    • Use the 4-week view to spot patterns and coverage trends
    • Filter by role when checking if specific positions are adequately staffed
