    Accessing Timesheets

Navigate to Timesheets from the main navigation. The timesheets page has two views:

    • Summary: Overview of all employee time sessions
    • Review: Timesheets that need attention (a badge count appears in the navigation)

The summary view shows all time sessions across your organization.

    Filtering

    • Date range: Select the month and year to view
    • Location: Filter to a specific location
    • Status: Show Open (still clocked in) or Closed (completed) sessions
    • Employee: Search for a specific employee

    Session Details

Each session in the list shows:

    • Employee name
    • Date
    • Clock-in and clock-out times
    • Net work minutes (total hours minus breaks)
    • Break duration
    • Session status (open or closed)

    Employee Timesheet View

Click on an employee in the sidebar to see their individual timesheet:

    • Monthly view showing daily hours
    • Sessions grouped by date
    • Total hours and days worked for the month
    • Detailed breakdown of each session

    Creating Manual Time Entries

If an employee forgot to clock in or there is a discrepancy:

    1. Click Add Entry
    2. Fill in:
      • Employee: Select the employee
      • Date: The date of the session
      • Clock In: Start time
      • Clock Out: End time
      • Break Duration: Break time in minutes
      • Location: Where the employee worked
      • Notes: Optional context for the manual entry
    3. Click Save

    Editing Time Entries

    1. Click on a time session to open it
    2. Modify the clock-in time, clock-out time, break duration, or other details
    3. Click Save

All edits are tracked in the session history for audit purposes.

    Dismissing Sessions

If a session was created in error (e.g., an accidental clock-in), you can dismiss it rather than deleting it. Dismissing keeps the record but marks it as not counted toward work hours.

    Reviewing Flagged Timesheets

The Review tab shows timesheets that need attention. Access it from Timesheets > Requires Review in the navigation.

Common reasons a timesheet might be flagged:

    • Open sessions (employee forgot to clock out)
    • Unusual session lengths
    • Sessions without a clock-out time

    Exporting Timesheets

Click Export to download timesheet data. Exports can be filtered by date range, location, and employee, making it easy to prepare data for payroll processing.

    Managing Breaks

For individual sessions, you can view and manage breaks:

    • See all breaks within a session (start time, end time, duration)
    • Add breaks that were missed
    • Edit break times
    • Remove incorrect breaks

    Tips

    • Review timesheets weekly: Catching discrepancies early makes them easier to resolve
    • Use the Review tab: It highlights sessions that need your attention so you do not have to scan through everything
    • Communicate with employees: If you edit a timesheet, let the employee know what changed and why
