    Accessing Billing

Navigate to Settings > Billing from the settings sidebar.

    Your Current Plan

The billing page shows your subscription at a glance:

    • Plan name and status badge (Trial, Active, Past Due, Frozen)
    • Monthly cost and next renewal date
    • Usage showing your current employee and location counts against plan limits with progress bars

    Available Plans

    CrewHR offers four pricing tiers:

    Plan Price Employees Locations
    Starter $9/mo Up to 10 1
    Growth $49/mo Up to 20 2
    Pro $99/mo Up to 50 5
Business $199/mo Up to 100 Unlimited

All plans include AI auto-scheduling, coverage AI, time tracking, leave management, and the employee portal. Toggle between Monthly and Annual billing to see pricing. Annual billing saves 20%.

For organizations with 100+ employees, contact the sales team for enterprise pricing.

    Free Trial

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. During the trial:

    • A banner at the top of the app shows how many days remain
    • All features are available
    • No credit card is required upfront
    • You will need to select a plan before the trial ends to continue using CrewHR

    Subscribing to a Plan

    1. Go to Settings > Billing
    2. Review the available plans and their features
    3. Click Subscribe on the plan that fits your team
    4. You will be taken to a secure Stripe checkout page to enter payment details
    5. After payment, your subscription activates immediately

    Managing Your Subscription

Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe customer portal where you can:

    • Update your payment method (credit card, debit card)
    • View and download past invoices
    • Switch between monthly and annual billing
    • Change your plan tier
    • Cancel your subscription

    Account Status

Your account can have one of these statuses:

    • Trial: Free trial period, all features available
    • Active: Paid subscription, everything working normally
    • Past Due: Payment failed. A red banner appears asking you to update your payment method. Your account continues working for a grace period.
    • Frozen: Account suspended due to extended non-payment. You can still sign in but most features are locked until payment is resolved.

    Usage Limits

Each plan has limits on employees and locations. The billing page shows your current usage with progress bars. If you exceed your plan's limits:

    • You will see a warning on the billing page
    • You may need to upgrade to a higher plan to add more employees or locations

    Tips

    • Start with the plan that fits now: You can upgrade at any time as your team grows
    • Choose annual billing to save: 20% discount compared to monthly
    • Keep payment info current: Avoid account disruptions by ensuring your payment method is up to date
