    The Summary View

The timesheet summary provides an overview of all employee time sessions in one place.

    Accessing the Summary

Navigate to Timesheets from the main navigation. The default view is the summary showing all sessions.

    What You See

The timesheet summary table with employee sessions and hours

    The summary table displays:

    • Employee name: Who the session belongs to
    • Date: When the session occurred
    • Clock In / Clock Out: Start and end times
    • Net Work Minutes: Total work time minus breaks
    • Break Duration: Total break time
    • Status: Open (still clocked in) or Closed (completed)

Sessions are loaded with infinite scroll, showing 50 at a time.

    Filtering

Narrow down the data using filters:

    • Date Range: Select the month and year to view
    • Location: Show only sessions from a specific location
    • Status: Filter by Open or Closed sessions
    • Employee: Search for a specific person

    Individual Employee View

Click on an employee in the sidebar to see their detailed timesheet:

    • Monthly calendar: Shows daily hours in a grid format
    • Session list: Individual sessions grouped by date
    • Month totals: Total hours worked and total days worked

Use the month and year navigation to browse different periods.

    Exporting Data

Click Export to download timesheet data. The export includes:

    • All sessions matching your current filters
    • Clock-in and clock-out times
    • Break durations
    • Total hours per session

    Exports are useful for:

    • Payroll processing
    • Compliance reporting
    • Internal auditing
    • Attendance tracking

    Open Session Indicators

The employee sidebar shows an indicator next to employees who have open sessions (currently clocked in). This helps you quickly see who is currently working.

    Tips

    • Export monthly for payroll: Set the date range to the payroll period and export to have clean data ready for processing
    • Filter by location for site managers: If you manage a specific location, filter to see only your site's data
    • Watch for open sessions: Sessions that remain open for too long may indicate a forgotten clock-out. Review and close them from the timesheets review page
